Merton Mencap is a registered charity, providing support and services for children, young people and adults with a learning disability and their family carers in the London Borough of Merton.
People with a learning disability should have the same choices and opportunities as everyone else. We provide a range of services and activities which help people learn new skills, try new leisure activities and develop their life experiences. Learn more about our services and activities for children, young people and adults.
We understand that parents and carers of people with a learning disability often need help and support. We are committed to ensuring parents and carers receive support to help them in their caring roles. Learn more about our services for parents and carers.
We are committed to raising awareness of the rights and needs of people with a learning disability. We work with local health and social services, the local education authority, other statutory agencies and other voluntary organisations to improve and develop services. To learn more about how you could get involved, click to become a volunteer or trustee or view our latest vacancies.
Although affiliated to the national charity, Royal Mencap Society, we are not a branch. We operate independently and are responsible for raising our own funds. If you would like to make a donation to enable us to keep providing services, projects and activities, make a donation.
