Merton Mencap is a registered charity, providing support and services for children, young people and adults with a learning disability and their family carers in the London Borough of Merton.
Talk Autism
Talk Autism is a service for parents of children, young people and adults with autism. The aim is to provide an environment of mutual support and education for parents.
The service, Talk Autism, will involve monthly meetings and will run for one year from September 2011.

People with a learning disability should have the same choices and opportunities as everyone else. We provide a range of services and activities which help people learn new skills, try new leisure activities and develop their life experiences. We understand that parents and carers of people with a learning disability often need help and support. We are committed to ensuring parents and carers receive support to help them in their caring roles. Learn more about our services for parents and carers.
We are committed to raising awareness of the rights and needs of people with a learning disability. We work with local health and social services, the local education authority, other statutory agencies and other voluntary organisations to improve and develop services.
