The Merton Mencap Café also provides catering at local events, such as parties, exhibitions and Annual General Meetings.

The Merton Mencap Café was audited against the Food Hygiene Star Rating system, commonly known as "scores on the doors", which is run in conjunction with the Food Standards Agency. The audit provides information to the public about hygiene standards in food businesses, using a star rating system from 0 to 5 stars.
Following their inspection by LBM environmental health, our café scored 5 stars – the highest possible.
