Our Transition Club (the TC) meets each Saturday afternoon from 2pm to 5pm in Wimbledon. We support young people aged 16-25 to develop their life skills during the transitional period into adulthood.
The focus is on health, fitness and accessing leisure opportunities. Each person has their own personal development plan which reflects their aspirations. We support people to use equipment in a gymnasium, play a variety of sports and get involved in a range of leisure pursuits.
We also provide a monthly football training session, with a qualified football coach. The young people develop their football skills, while learning the skills needed for a team sport.
If you know a young person with a learning disability who would like to join the club, or would like more information, please contact the Projects Manager, Brenda Fortune, on 020 8254 8389 or email email@example.com
