Become a Volunteer

A volunteer is someone who freely gives their time or services to their community, organisation or charity.

People volunteer for a variety of reasons. They may want to learn new skills, meet new people or improve their employment prospects. Whatever the case, volunteering can be challenging, varied and extremely rewarding.

At Merton Mencap, we offer people the opportunity to be involved with our projects and activities by volunteering. Whether you want to help young people in a sports setting or help someone develop their skills, get in touch – we would love to hear from you. We are committed to equal opportunities and diversity when recruiting for volunteers.

We will also be clear about the role, what the position involves and will provide the support you need to really enjoy the volunteering experience.

To speak to us about volunteering, please email us or telephone us on 020 8687 4676, or you can complete the form below. All information will be treated as confidential.

If you prefer, the form can be downloaded and posted to the address on our contact page. Please also take some time to read our Volunteer Policy document before applying.
