Dedicated support for carers of adults
- Carers assessments and reviews
- Help with problems and a confidential listening ear
- Information about local services
- Support offered in-person or remotely
Our service is dedicated to supporting carers of adults with a learning disability and/or autism.
We have two dedicated workers:
Sandra Watson, LD Carers Advisor, who provides carers’ assessments. A carers’ assessment is an opportunity for carers to talk about their caring role and its impact on their life, and to explore the services and support which could help.
Carolyn Doyle, LD Carers Caseworker, who offers a range of support including a listening ear to talk through problems and possible solutions, and help to understand more about local services for the carer and the person they care for.
Both Sandra and Carolyn can be contacted directly for more information. See their contact details on this page.
