What is Talk Autism?
Talk Autism is a forum for parents and carers of children, young people and adults with autism in Merton.
Talk Autism runs monthly events for parents and carers on autism-related matters – for example, a talk about managing behaviours, establishing sleep patterns and routines.
We also run social events so parents and carers can meet each other, and we have a Talk Autism Whatsapp group where we post latest news.

How do I join Talk Autism?
It’s free and easy
If you’re already known to us at Merton Mencap, contact us and tell us you’d like to become a Talk Autism member.
If you’re new to us, get in touch (see details below) and we’ll enrol you as a Talk Autism member.
Once you become a member, you’ll automatically receive news about Talk Autism events and other things happening at Merton Mencap which could help you. You’ll have the chance to join our Talk Autism Whatsapp group too if you wish.
You can leave Talk Autism at any time, just let us know and we’ll delete your details.
Do I need to book my place at Talk Autism events?
Yes please. Places are often limited so it’s a good idea to book early.
