Merton Carers First: support for carers and families of adults with a learning disability and or autism and Merton’s Carers Strategy: taking forward its priorities

Staff from Merton Carers First will be providing an update on their local services and support for carers of people with learning disabilities and/or autism, including for young carers. This will cover carers assessments, access to online and in-person events which reduce isolation and provide practical and emotional support.

Meet our Commissioners within Merton’s Adult Social Care and Health who are working on the implementation of the Carers Strategy.

Find out what support is available for Carers, obtain a progress update as to the implementation of the Carers Strategy and shape and inform the ongoing plan, to improve the offer for carers to have a life alongside caring.
