Travel training is practical support to help someone learn how to travel safely on their own. We provide travel training to children (11+) and adults with a learning disability and/or autism.
Our travel trainers provide 1:1 support to help people learn the skills to safely undertake a designated journey on their own which may include using buses, trams, trains and negotiating roads.
Through our training, the person increases their confidence and skills to become an independent traveller.
